This site lets you collect all the feeds you make on the internet in one place. This is known as “Lifestreaming” and sites like FriendFeed, Swurl, Soup.io, Lifestrea.ms, and Profilactic already do this. But these sites display everyone’s content in the same boring black and white. Your lifestream is everything you do online, it should look how you want it to. You can customize the backgrounds, borders, and fonts that will be used to display your content—not just on your own profile—but everywhere that it’s displayed. But that’s not all it does. Your lifestream says a lot about who you are, and my site listens and learns what you’re interested in and shows you new content and users that you’ll like. You can export your interests in a new data format called “Attention Data Markup Language” that can tell other sites what you’re into and help them make better recommendations. You can control who has access to this data, and possibly even be rewarded for sharing it with third parties like Amazon, Google, or Netflix. But most importantly, this site will be easy for non-technical users to use because we think that Lifestreaming is great for everyone not just geeks. So this site needs a name that tells people that they can combine all the content they make online, style it to reflect their personality, find new stuff, and benefit from building an attention profile, all without even knowing what RSS is! Oh and we really like rainbows!
