We’re about to launch a webTV platform for business clients. Our first client is international, with multiple languages – the videos will be subtitled or with different audio sound tracks. The content will be delivered in both Flash and Silverlight (Windows Media’s new player). Timed schedules will put different video content on air at different times e.g. dance music on a Friday night and football on Saturday afternoon. We have worked with the internal project name ‘media freedom’ for the last 8 months,but were looking for something that could be more of a brand name e.g. “XYZ .. means media freedom”. The delivery platform will also support video advertising, although we have non-profits already signed up to use it as well. We are not a video production company, but are instead the video delivery platform. Our competitors are Brightcove, Narrowstep, Maven and thePlatform. Keywords for us are delivery, convergence, multi-platform, web 2.0 (like virtually everyone else I know!). The prismatic image reflects the different ways to deliver e.g. online, on a TV, on a mobile etc. A domain name would be nice but not essential.
