Talking about better food alternatives with my fitness coach – my entrepeneurial spirit started thinking. I approached him with starting our own brand of healthy snack foods. After endless sleepless nights and a billion page business plan (sans financials yet – Yuck) He started to see how great this could be for us. Our market is going to be local, his already existing clients, word of mouth, smaller health food and specialty food stores in our area, and through his website. We also are thinking this is a great idea as a fundraiser for local communities.


I need an umbrella name for the company. Healthy Handfuls is a PERFECT name but has already been trademarked by a large corporation and is untouchable. Many of the great (so I though) names I have carefully come up with have been taken by the bigger guys.


Our mandate is to deliver, nutritious, healthy, as organic as possible, no ingredients you can’t pronounce, portion size (if possible) convenient, great for all ages foods – locally found and grown if possible. Can you help??

    A: The instructor has a website under his fitness studio name, we will add an e-commerce side to his site so no there will be no need for an additonal .com

    A: I search under the (cipo.ic.gc.ca) trade-mark database which is http://www.cipo.ic.gc.ca/epic/site/cipointernet-internetopic.nsf/en/h_wr00003e.html (SORRY ITS SO LONG)

  • Q: What is the name of the fitness studio and his website address?

    A: The fitness Studio is named after him. So consider it equivalent to "Kevin's Fitness Studio". Sorry folks, no real inspiration here.
